Orbit Solitaire

History

Solar Solitaire is an innovative variant developed in 2026, inspired by orbital mechanics. Unlike traditional solitaire where cards are drawn from the corner, Solar Solitaire places "The Sun" (the draw pile) at the center, with all cards gravitating around it. This design was influenced by Fitts's Law in UX design.

How to Play

• The Sun (Center): Click or swipe to draw 3 cards
• Satellite Orbit: Drawn cards appear as satellites around the sun
• Tableau (Inner Ring): 8 piles - build down, alternating colors
• Foundations (Outer Ring): Build up by suit from Ace to King
• Rotating Orbits: Every 10 moves, the inner ring rotates!
• Solar Flares: Random chance to reveal hidden cards
